SCEWC is made possible thanks to our Global Partners

Redacción Energía de Hoy04/11/2016

We have been sending emails over the last few weeks talking about the major companies who help to make SCEWC such a success.
Thanks to our Global Partners, SCEWC counts on the support of major companies who are also working towards the development of our cities.

In this 5th email we are delighted to present these 3 leading multinationals: Cisco, Huawei and Seat.
Discover how these companies are key in the world of smart cities and what they will be doing at this year"s SCEWC.

Cisco has developed its comprehensive smart cities approach based on three decades of rock-solid networking expertise. Add to that nearly a decade of focused research with city leaders worldwide, dedicated visionary thought leadership in this burgeoning market, and the cultivation of a robust and growing ecosystem of certified technology, service provider, urban services, and financial partners.

Smart+Connected Communities solutions-operating over an integrated digital platform-are already deployed and operating in a number of cities-Barcelona, Adelaide, Copenhagen, Kansas City, Paris, Jaipur-to name just a few. Early results indicate success in accelerating the cities" ability to:

Optimize city infrastructure and operations by connecting systems, applications, devices, processes, data and people across city departments and agencies to make information more accessible and usable and services more affordable.

Facilitate decision making by city officials and managers who are able to harness data from a wide variety of sources, which reveal new correlations for deeper analysis, insight, and appropriate action response and planning.

Streamline engagement with citizens via web, apps on mobile devices and via distributed street kiosks to allow people to interact with city agencies, get real-time public transportation information and access citywide activities and entertainment.

Empower city employees through collaboration and data-sharing across departments to support service delivery and engagement with customers in a more personalized, convenient way while increasing productivity and efficiency.

Orchestrate new models for business, operations, services delivery and management, and financing-such as those forged through public-private partnerships-leveraging Cisco and partner resources and relationships.

We invite you to attend our Plenary Session and our Parallel Sessions and visit us in Booth #C362. Come and learn about our approach, our solutions, and the launch of a game-changing technology that will truly revolutionize digital transformation in cities.
